Full-Body XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF on a 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS — Mesa, AZ

The 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS is designed to be driven, and its low, wide shape puts a lot of valuable paint close to the road. For this project, AZ Auto Aesthetics installed a Full-Body Coverage Option using XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film, protecting every painted surface from the kind of wear that accumulates on Arizona roads.

What Was Performed

  • Full-body XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF: film coverage was extended across every painted exterior surface rather than stopping at a front-end package.
  • Coverage for an enthusiast vehicle: the approach is designed to preserve the factory finish while the 911 is used for commuting, road trips, and spirited driving.
  • Protection before damage: installing film early helps keep rock chips and road rash from becoming the first story written into a new Porsche’s paint.

Why a 911 Carrera 4 GTS Benefits From Full Coverage

A full-body package makes sense when the goal is consistent preservation. The front bumper and hood see direct impact from stones, while fenders, mirrors, lower doors, and rocker areas can collect tire-thrown debris and road grime. On a low sports car, those lower sections are close to the action, so limiting protection to the center of the nose leaves more of the vehicle exposed.

PPF is the physical protection layer in a complete care plan. It is designed to take the abuse that a ceramic coating is not: rock chips and impact from road debris. Ceramic coating can still be added later, where compatible, to make the film and exposed surfaces easier to clean and more resistant to water spotting.

Arizona Driving Makes Film Maintenance Important

Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, and Phoenix drivers deal with intense UV, fine dust, construction zones, and monsoon-season outflow. A dusty Porsche should be rinsed before contact. After a storm or long highway drive, remove grit, bugs, and mineral residue with a cool, shaded hand wash rather than a dry wipe or automatic tunnel wash.

Maintaining XPEL Ultimate Plus

  • Wait for the installer’s cure window before washing.
  • Wash by hand in the shade with a pH-neutral shampoo and clean microfiber tools.
  • Dry after every wash with a plush towel or blower.
  • Keep pressure-washer nozzles away from film edges and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  • Have the film checked if an edge lifts, a seam changes, or impact damage appears.
